NIGHT IN THE WOODS GOD. one of the first games i played on my free will and actually enjoyed. first played this game like 2 years ago and it will always be with me. the affect it had on me is indescribable, i will always carry it in my heart. what i loved the most wasn't the mystery or the murder but the CHARACTERS. they felt so REAL. they felt like ME. weird and abnormal and anxious and awkward and REAL. like i could reach out and hug them through the screen. one of the best games in existence.

i think by now everyone has heard of the last of us, partly because of how good it is and the new hbo max series. but this game series, especially the first one, will always be special to me. me and my dad played it years ago. from the lore, to the characters to the mechanics, its a perfect game. we replayed it recently and it was just as good as i first played it, and that is a very hard thing for a certain piece of media to do.

IKENFELL!!!! i remember i played this last summer and i finished the 20 hour game in A DAY. such good queer rep and characters. so casual and comfortable, it never feels rep just for the sake of rep, the character's and the queer relationships they have with each other is simply so real. i wasn't in love with the battle mechanics but i think they predicted that most wouldn't, so you could skip the fighting sequences which i liked. It was heavily focused on the plot and characters and it was enough to satisfy me and get into my top 5

SUCH A GOOD GAME !!! its a third person shooting game which i normally DESPISE. like i HATE THEM. but splatoon is special. it has a way of dragging you in with its amazing mechanics and visuals. normally i like to focus on the lore of games, but splatoon is my only exception even though i know it has lore blah blah blah but im too lazy to research it. LET A MAN LOVE A GAME WITHOUT KNOWING EVERYTHING ABOUT THE LORE OKAY. i love shooting ink at assholes.
