GOOD OMENS... MOST POPULAR AROUND HOMOSEXUALS
Good omens is a 1990 book fantasy turned tv show created by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. A show about a demon and an angel in a world canonically controlled by the christian god, Crowley (demon) and Aziraphale (angel) form an unlikely friendship in the face of protecting what matters most to them both, the world. With the news of the armageddon fast approaching, Azi and Crowley's 6000+ year old friendship is challenged as they team up to try and stop it. Pratchett having passed away before Gaiman and him having the chance to even draft out a script for the tv show is a main motivator for Neil's passion towards the show. Both having loved their book dearly, Gaiman does justice to the book remarkably. The first season having come out on 2019, entirely based on the book, was received very well with the critics. In 2023, a second season had premiered, filled with entirely new content not contained in the book. While touring in the 90's for their book, Gaiman and Pratchett has tossed around the idea of a sequel, but both had backed out, as they had other things to do. But the sequels main plot was clear to the both of them, Aziraphale and Crowley were going to be happy, living in
South Downs Cottage. Before that point though, Gaiman had to put down a foundation for it. That's were season two comes in. A "filler" season created for the sole propose of what was going to succeed it.

Aziraphale and Crowley are explicitly queer, both confirmed by the
kiss they shared at the end of season too, but also by how direct Gaiman is on how they are in love. Gaiman himself doesn't describe them as queer, doesn't describe them as anything as they are supernatural beings that bound down to societal labels created by humans. But one thing is clear, they are in love.
