Aimsey the human!!! we don't know much about them from the arg but leading from the fact that the arg is closely related to the bsmp lore, we can theoretically say that arg and bsmp aimsey are similar. bsmp aimsey is a traveler and one of the main people who first start living in the bsmp. adventurous and likes to run away from her problems. In the bearsmp universe, she leaves guqqie thus leading everyone else in bsmp to leave. Guqqie grows a resentment towards her and when she comes back to visit her they have a big fight. After the fight, guqqie is delusional and a bit manic, and she ends up killing herself. Aimsey leads on her life to go to the dsmp and finally just become a nomad, a wanderer. we don't know much about her arg self other than the fact that she loves guqqie a lot and feels a lot of guilt in killing her.

hello! and welcome to my shrine about an ARG made by guqqie, a twitch streamer. here you can learn roughly about the lore, the characters and more!

what's an ARG?

An alternate reality game (arg) is an interactive network narrative. A networked narrative is a story, something of a mystery the creator wants to tell, split into different parts across a network "of interconnected authors, access points, and/or discrete threads". Most popuşar ARG's mostly split these parts across the internet, making it more easily accessible. They are interactive with the audience, and mostly requires the audience to connect dots and fit together the puzzles peices together to unconver the bigger picture. It isn't specifically driven by the details or what the audience finds; rather, details emerge through piecing together the information to tell the ultimate story by the various things the ARG presented the audience with. It mostly has intense player involvement and takes place in real time, evolving according to players' responses and findings. The audience interacts directly with the story, collaborating as a community to analyze the story and coordinate real-life and online activities. ARGs generally use multimedia, spawning across many platforms.

How did guqqie's arg evolve?

In april of 2022, guqqie posted a video linking a survey and a faceless creature heeding warnings towards it and to answer the questions "honestly". Later on guqqie said that the survey answers had created another route the arg could go in and said "So... [Reading chat] the thing is that the answers are really good for me, not for you. You failed. You failed it. But you were all gonna fail anyway, there was no way to get the right answer. You were all gonna fail it anyway." Guqqie is known for telling stories though minecraft, and a lot of these stories do not end with happy endings. This statement is to be expected from them, and will prove to be true.

The ARG's finale is on youtube and most of the lore is on it. here is the google doc to help you understand how it evolved more clearly. While some ARGs choose to show information and lore with the network narrative, Quqqie chose a different approach. They relayed much of the lore on the video and instead built up some foreshadowing and suspense with the networking. Personally, I liked this approach a lot. I don't usually participate in the decoding nor the community part of the ARGs i follow, instead choosing to just observe and enjoy. Because of this, Quqqie's ARG was like an easily accessible story game for me.

the lore!!

Get ready, because I'm about to put on my English literature hat. The arg lore is loosely connected with the bearsmp lore. They are alternate usniverses, thus sharing some similarities. Before the finale, two videos were posted on guqqies youtube channel. one public and the other unlisted. The public one had a faceless creature who had yellow eyes and pitch-black skin with a white void behind it. With an echoing voice that makes the listener uncomfortable, the creature welcomes us. It states that we are in a simulation and that the audience will be completing three sections for the future experiments of the creature and other unnamed person (?). It says to answer the survey honestly and that to not fail, we must be truthful. It seems to insist that we could "leave anytime we want to" but also seems to be teasing us with the fact that we will not. it talks formally if not a bit condescendingly. under the survey, there is another link leading to the unlisted video. This one has another faceless creature with distorted colors and a black void behind it, completly contrasting the first creature. Its voice is also echoing but also seems pitchier. It seems urgent and surprisingly more sincere, warning us of the survey and the "simulation". It tells us that it's a trap. both videos are short, the longest two minutes long. The finale video (which is 40 minutes long) starts with the same faceless creature that told people about the survey. Then, the player (us, in a way) is put into a Minecraft world. We walk for a bit until we find an abandoned house. It has pictures of two female-presenting people, mostly with each other. We meet one of the people in the pictures later on, and they tell us their partner has passed. Their name is Guqqie and we meet on top of their partner Aimsey's grave. Guqqie talks to us about their relationship and then proceeds to sit down and have a picnic with us. Then, something interesting happens. Guqqie, who looked like grieving parner turns different, eyes going black. We wake up, and guqqie is on top of a roof with us. We learn the truth about the nature of Guqqie and Aimsey's relationship. Then. We die.

SILLY LITTLE ALIEN GUY!!!! she came to earth and met aimsey, and fell in love with him!! planned to tell them about her ailen identity, thinking that she would accept her. well, she gets stabbed in the back, litreally. aimsey stabs her, and guqqie looses one of her lives that day. Aimsey, plagued with guilt, follows guqqie around everywhere to resolve what happened between them. In guqqie's words, even if she didn't look at her for months, not talking or awknolaging her, she would never leave. Guqqie hates Aimsey after she kills her, understandably so. She wants aimsey to hurt, just like she hurt her. While ignoring Aimsey and occuping herself with her research, she makes a "breakthough" on revival. So, she does expiriments on her. Deadly ones, mostly testing her capability of death and how her "human" body can handle it. The first time Aimsey doesn't know she'll die, but after a while it seems like she gets used to it. They continue this little fucked up cycle of murder and revival until one day aimsey doesn't wake up.That's the reason for inviting the player with the forums etc., she wants us to be the other test subject.
